Help At Home

One of the main things Aunt Roberta promised to do while she was here was to help us make our garden beautiful.  She has already told us what to do with the plants in our backyard but today she helped us make our front yard pretty.

Earlier this afternoon, Aunt Roberta and McColley went to the garden store and picked out a rainbow of bedding flowers.

When B got home tonight, it was time to plant them:

A bit into planting, Brayton got bored and declared himself cold. When I went to let him into the house he couldn't decide if he really wanted to leave the front yard.  While he was busy being undecided Orlando escaped:

We then had to try and get Orlando back into the house.  It took a bit of explaining for the boys to understand that running and screaming was not an effective capture strategy.

However, we did eventually get the cat back inside.  With that out of the way, the boys declared themselves Clone Warriors.  They put Aunt Roberta into jail and then turned her into a Clone too:

I think B was just happy to be able to finish up the planting without 'help'!
